We know that there are only a dozen minority owned breweries in Massachusetts. We know that nearly 80% of craft beer consumers in Massachusetts are white. We know that brewery taprooms do not reflect the neighborhoods that surround their brewery’s walls. We know that this needs to change.

Our Mission:
Hop Forward Equality was born out of the need for a home base and resource center with actionable, tangible steps that our brewing community can take to begin, or further, its diversity, inclusion and equity work.
