Our Mission

Hop Forward Equality was born out of the need for a home base and resource center with actionable, tangible steps that our brewing community can take to begin, or further, its diversity, inclusion and equity work.

We will curate, write and share regular news, ideas and inspiration. We will offer trainings and workshops for continued education led by experts in the diversity and inclusion space. The jobs board, which is open to breweries committed to equitable hiring practices, will serve to attract diverse candidates and broaden the talent pools that apply for brewery positions.

Having meaningful conversations over a beer is an age-old pastime. Hop Forward Equality was created to build on beer’s unique history of bringing people together, breaking down barriers and building bridges.
